EDGAR Family Cemetery, DeWitt County, TEXAS

The EDGAR Family Cemetery is located near the community of Edgar, DeWitt County, TEXAS, between Cuero and Yoakum,

Hillside Cemetery, DeWitt County, TEXAS

Established in 1700, Hillside Cemetery is located within the city limits of Cuero. Today, the main entrance to Hillside Cemetery

is located at the intersection of Reuss Boulevard and Valley Street.

When Patsy Goebel did her survey in 1987, it had over 5,000 marked graves.  There are many more today, and it's a bit

overwhelming.  With 27 surveyed EDGARs, 3 post-survey EDGARs, 1 shared headstone for an EDGAR still living, 4 surveyed

in-laws, and 2 post- survey in-laws, there are 37 EDGAR family members in the Hillside Cemetery.

For additional information and photos, visit the Edgar in Hillside Cemetery website.
