John EDGAR (Family Tree Database)
(About 1777 – 1843)
John and his wife, Mary, relocated to TENNESSEE about 1809 and bought land in Williamson County on the Big East Fork of
the South Harpeth River.
Two of John’s children, Samuel and Lillis Hester (who married Ezekiel INMAN in TENNESSEE) and their families relocated to
MISSOURI, Lillis in about 1839 and Samuel in the early 1850s. They produced a vast number of descendants who left many
records and history in Dent County, MISSOURI and surrounding counties.
John’s widow, Mary, relocated to MISSOURI with Samuel and his family. Her gravestone is near his in the EDGAR cemetery
in the Deep Ford community in Dent County, MISSOURI.
