MEMORANDA

M. S. M. E. [Mary Susan Margareth EDGAR] was sick with confinement Feb 16th [1875] her babe, a boy, lived only about 1

1/2 hrs.

M. S. M. E. was confined again July 5th 1878 her babe a girl lived three days. her sickness continued on for near all the fall

and in Sept 78 she was in a very critical state...

W. J. D. E. [William James Darden EDGAR] was taken sick July 9th 1878 with chills and fever which continued until after Xmas

[Christmas] :::

M. S. M. E. was sick with confinement Aug 16th 1879 her babe a boy only lived about 5 hrs

M. S. M. was blessed with a girl Mch [March] 1st 1881 and named [her] Nettie May,

M. S. M. very sick Nov 22nd 1882.

M. S. M. lost a fine boy Mch [March] 1st 1885 ~

M. S. M. was blest with a girl July 21st 1886 only living 3 days.

M. S. M. was sick with cramps taken July 1st 1887 remaining in bed eleven days.

W. J. D. E. was taken with congestion of lower bowels Aug 24th 1887 remaining in bed seven days.

M. S. M. was sick and near death's door June 1889.
