In 1791 Adam EDGAR sold about two (2) acres of land from his family homestead in Chester County, SOUTH CAROLINA

in order to establish Rocky Creek Reformed Presbyterian Church and Cemetery. Although there are no marked headstones

for Adam and Mary, it is inevitable they are buried in the Cemetery of the RCRP Church.

Established in 1700, Hillside Cemetery is located within the city limits of Cuero. Today, the main entrance to Hillside

Cemetery is located at the intersection of Reuss Boulevard and Valley Street. When Patsy Goebel did her survey in 1987, it

had over 5,000 marked graves. There are many more today, and it's a bit overwhelming. With 27 surveyed EDGARs, 3 post-

survey EDGARs, 1 shared headstone for an EDGAR still living, 4 surveyed in-laws, and 2 post- survey in-laws, there are 37

EDGAR family members in the Hillside Cemetery.
